This policy explains how this app handles information on your device. The app is designed around local processing and does not operate a separate user account system.

FindShot stores imported copies locally and uses on-device OCR. Recognition and organization do not require sending screenshots to servers operated by the developer.

Permissions Used

Photo library access: used to import screenshots and optionally delete originals after creating local copies.

Data Handling

Screenshots, OCR text details, tags, and classification rules are stored on-device. The app does not require uploading this content to servers operated by the developer.

Important Notes

The accuracy of text extraction depends on device OCR capabilities.

Deleting photos moves them to the Recently Deleted album based on iOS behavior.

Third-Party Services

Purchases and downloads are handled by Apple App Store. If you enable iCloud or system services, Apple may process data under Apple's own terms and privacy policy.

We do not sell personal data and do not use your content for advertising.
