WakeRally

Privacy Policy

WakeRallyTerms of Use

Overview

This policy explains how this app handles information on your device. The app is designed around local processing and does not operate a separate user account system.

Alarm settings, checkpoint features, and wake records stay on your device. No account is required, and original camera images or barcode values are not saved or uploaded.

Permissions Used

System alarm permission: creates and manages your saved alarms and 10-second tests. Without it, the app cannot create system alarms.

Camera permission: registers and verifies checkpoint objects or codes. Processing happens on your device. A backup task is available if the camera cannot be used.

Shake tasks use iOS shake-completion events while the task page is open. No Motion & Fitness permission, step counts, movement routes, or raw sensor samples are requested.

Data Handling

The app stores alarm times, repeat days, labels, sounds, task configurations, language preferences, and recovery state in its local container.

Checkpoint names and image features are retained for later matching. QR codes and barcodes are stored as locally salted hashes. The app does not save or upload original photos, videos, camera frames, or raw code values.

Wake records include task results, durations, and reasons for backup tasks or incomplete sessions. WakeRally has no app account, developer-operated data collection backend, app-managed cloud sync, advertising, third-party analytics, crash-reporting SDK, or cross-app tracking.

Apple StoreKit processes purchases. The app checks verified entitlements on your device and does not send your Apple Account or transaction records to a developer server or receive payment-card details.

Important Notes

Alarm configurations and checkpoint items remain until you delete them in the app or delete the app. Deleting an alarm or checkpoint does not delete earlier wake records. There is no separate clear-history action; deleting the app removes its local container and the history may not be recoverable.

Whether iOS device backups include app data depends on your Apple and iOS backup settings. The developer cannot remotely inspect, export, or delete data stored only in your app container.

If local data cannot be opened, you can choose to share a diagnostic report with the app version, build, iOS version, and a redacted error code. It excludes raw database errors, alarm content, checkpoint features, and wake history, and is sent only to the destination you choose.

If you email support, the mailbox receives your email address, message, and any attachments you send. This is used to respond and troubleshoot. Send only necessary information and contact service@byrobin.app about deleting support correspondence.

This policy describes the WakeRally app. Website analytics and language-preference cookies on byrobin.app are separate from data stored privately in the app. WakeRally does not read health records and is not a medical product.

Third-Party Services

Purchases and downloads are handled by Apple App Store. If you enable iCloud or system services, Apple may process data under Apple's own terms and privacy policy.

We do not sell personal data and do not use your content for advertising.
